The letters chiefly concern antiquarian and bibliographical matters (particularly relating to Shakespeare) and the preparation and sale of his publications. Included are his correspondence with William Kelly, letters to John Blake Jell, and a few miscellaneous letters. There are many prospectuses for his publications, especially with the Jell letters.
